Once a scraper has been created, Lection can move the job from your browser to the cloud.
This means the browser does not need to remain open whenever an extraction runs. Saved jobs can follow a schedule, and the platform has built-in error handling that can retry failed requests and recover from some page or network problems.
That makes recurring jobs much more practical. A business could check competitor prices each morning, refresh a directory, monitor new job postings, or collect marketplace listings on a regular schedule.

Lection is a good fit for market research, sales prospecting, competitor monitoring, directory building, product tracking, job-post monitoring, social research, and recurring data collection.
It is especially useful when the same dataset needs to be refreshed repeatedly. Copying information from a website once is tedious. Doing it every day is exactly the sort of work worth automating.
Sending the results directly into Google Sheets, Airtable, or an automation platform also removes the extra step of downloading a file and importing it somewhere else.
AI-generated extraction needs to be checked. Lection’s terms state that its AI results may be incomplete or inaccurate and place responsibility for verifying the collected information on the user.
Privacy needs some thought as well. During a scraping run, Lection can process DOM snapshots and store structured tables and run metadata in the user’s account. An optional setting can include first-party cookies and browser fingerprint information when a cloud job needs session context. That option is disabled by default.
Then there is the question of whether a site allows the scrape in the first place. Lection’s terms require users to follow applicable laws, website terms, robots.txt rules, and copyright restrictions. A scraper making extraction easy does not automatically make every extraction permitted.
Lection connects browser-based scraping with recurring data automation. AI field detection makes it relatively quick to create an initial scraper, while point-and-click controls offer a practical fallback when the page is messy. Pagination, deep-link crawling, cloud scheduling, and integrations make the resulting data useful beyond the browser.
Researchers, analysts, sales teams, operators, and no-code builders are the clearest audience. Just remember that automation does not remove the need to inspect the output, protect account data, or respect the rules of the websites being scraped.
